  • Concept

During year 2006, the world leader in OEM thermal printers and cashless solutions FutureLogic Inc. contracted our team to design and implement a system that could gather the cashless data flowing thru their slots thermal printers installed in the casino floors all around the world and process it in real time delivering promotional content based on game play while they were still playing.

The system must be able to work in a way that all the players within a casino floor could be classified very precisely according their value for the casinos based on their previous game play in a fully flexible way, and the promotional vouchers printed without intervention of any casino employee.

  • Results

Designed to multiply the impact of the promotional campaigns by matching the right target audience with outstanding precision, and by allowing the casino operators to analyze the behavior of their visitors in order to improve their stay, the system is causing a revolution in the way that the world’s largest casinos think and execute their marketing efforts, simplifying the processes and maximizing the invested money efficiency.

The system is based on servers that manage and coordinate all the FutureLogic printers located inside the EGMs on the casino floor. A special module that must be attached to each printer was designed to gather the information from that particular casino slot and deliver it to the assigned server each time that play activity is detected. The servers are continuously processing the information coming from all the devices on the casino and categorizing them according to all their player activity. When the conditions defined by the casino operator are met, the system delivers the promotional content to the right players on the right moment without any human interaction required.

The project development was started at the end of the year 2006, and the first version of a functional system was exhibited at the casino industry world largest event (G2E Show in Las Vegas) at the end of 2007. Since then the system has been continuously evolving and each year a new major version of the system is publicly presented introducing revolutionary changes (like integration to other casino systems for data integration or usage of new platforms like Apple iPads to monitor the casino floor status on real time by supervisors roaming the casino floor) that made it to be the most revolutionary marketing system for casinos in the world year after year since its introduction.
